I’m Susanna, a wife, a mother of 4 and a Clinical Specialist Speech and Language Therapist having worked with children and adults with Down syndrome for the last 18 years. I have a passion for play-based therapy and am a firm supporter of real-life speech, language and communication to promote advocacy, inclusion and acceptance. In my clinical practice, I strive to follow the latest evidence-based practice, in 2022 winning the IASLT award for service excellence. I currently work in Southern Ireland with a small caseload of children with Down Syndrome and other early communication, speech and language needs. My caseload for individual in-person sessions is currently closed. I have limited availability for Zoom sessions.

My first book ‘Our Busy Day’ forms part of my desire to reach parents everywhere with evidence-based practise and strategies to implement whilst reading the book and throughout your daily routines.

Additionally, I am a fully qualified Lamh Tutor and available for this and speaking engagements throughout Ireland.
